Seward County Community College/Area Technical School Foundation Scholarship Auction, 6 p.m., Saturday. Seward County Event Center, Fairgrounds. The Scholarship Auction is an annual event that raises money for scholarships. It includes a live and silent auction, food and drink and entertainment. Donations of new or handcrafted items can be made by calling 620-417-1131 or coming by the Development Office, SCCC/ATS, 1801 N. Kansas, Liberal, Kansas. Tickets are $20 and will be available in August by calling 620-417-1131.

Take a Quilt/ Home Tour with us!! In conjunction with Ozfest in Liberal, Kansas, this special event will feature over 200 quilts, 6 beautiful homes, the Coronado Museum and the Pancake Day Museum – ALL for the cost of $5.00 per ticket! This will also include quilting demonstrations at each home, an “Everything OZ” quilt challenge display and souvenir items. Hours are Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm.
